Who are we? |
|
Sheffield's Highfield Trinity Church is a small fellowship that is welcoming and friendly; an oasis of Christian spirituality in the midst of a bustling city.
We offer creative worship that values people of all ages and engages with the senses in a variety of ways and with a range of musical styles.
We are concerned about justice in God's world and are committed to take practical action to support people who are often 'left behind' in today's societies.

FOCUS ON PRAYER
For some time, members have been meeting to pray for concerns in the wider world, our community and church family. We believe that God hears us when we pray and is concerened about the issues we face.
We now have 'prayer chain' which means that prayer requests can quickly be passed on from one member to another.
Click here if there is something you would like us to bring to God in Prayer.
One of our newer friends Samuel Jebaraj, from India (see picture) has a real heart for prayer and has prepared some simple step-by-step guides to help us when we pray.

Welcome to
Highfield Trinity Church
|
|
As a Christian Church we exist to worship God, to learn about and share the good news of Jesus Christ. We do this through worship on Sunday, involvement in the community and offering our building to a wide variety of organisations who use the premises throughout the week.
|
|
|
The church was founded in the Methodist Tradition; being built over 100 years ago, it has a long history of adapting to the needs of the local community. Some years ago we merged with St. Barnabas Church opposite (now a sheltered complex) and more recently we have welcomed partner churches from the Apostolic and African traditions who worship in the church on Sundays and throughout the week.
Our ground floor premises are used by a number of community-based organisations during the week and we have meeting, activity and office spaces available at a reasonable cost.
We are about to start on an exciting major redevelopment programme which will see structural repairs and refurbishment of our buildings in order to refurbish activity spaces, community office accommodation, meeting rooms and even venue facilities. |
